🔍 Comprehensive Data Deletion & Retention Disclosures

Under Google Play's User Data policy and global privacy standards, Chemmatrix Inc. provides transparent disclosures regarding what data is deleted, what data is not stored, and what limited records may be retained:

1. Data that is Permanently Deleted:

Authentication Records: Firebase Authentication records, login credentials, passwords, and third-party OAuth links (e.g. Google Sign-In associations).
User Profile Data: Cloud database profile documents, including display names, avatars, personal interests, phone numbers, and language preferences.
Device Identifiers: Persistent unique device tokens (such as peekle_unique_device_id), push notification tokens, and hardware session mappings.
User Content & Messaging: In-app messages, call records, in-app notification inboxes, and user-generated preferences.
Activity & Presence Records: Real-time presence logs, online/offline status indicators, and matchmaking queue entries.

2. Data That Is Never Stored or Recorded:

Live Audio & Video Streams (WebRTC Real-Time Communications)

In applications featuring real-time audio/video communication (such as Peekle OpenTalk), audio and video streams pass directly between peer devices (P2P) via WebRTC. We NEVER record, store, or archive your live camera video or microphone voice on any server. Media streams cease to exist the instant a session ends.

3. Limited Data Retained for Legal, Security, or Compliance Reasons (If Applicable):

Security & Safety Blocklists: If an account was permanently terminated for severe violations of community safety policies (e.g., child sexual abuse material [CSAM], terroristic threats, extreme harassment, or fraud), an anonymized/hashed identifier is retained on a restricted blocklist solely to prevent repeat abusive registrations and protect community safety.
Regulatory Auditing: Records of formal deletion requests are preserved for regulatory compliance proof as required by data protection authorities.

4. Deletion Timeline:

Session Invalidation: Access tokens and active logins are revoked immediately upon verification.
Production Database Purging: All personal data is expunged from live production databases within thirty (30) calendar days.
Backup Erasure: Encrypted disaster recovery backups are systematically overwritten in accordance with standard 60-day backup rotation cycles.

📱 How to Request Deletion From Within Your App

If you still have any Chemmatrix application installed on your Android device, you may also initiate account deletion directly within the app:

Open the application (e.g., Peekle OpenTalk).
Navigate to the side navigation drawer or Settings / Profile screen.
Select Privacy Policy or Contact Us / Account Settings.
Choose the option to request account deletion or log out permanently.
