This Privacy Policy describes how My Calc Rob (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application My Calc Rob (the “Application”).

By downloading, installing, or using My Calc Rob, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary of Data Practices

  • Calculations & Data Input: All calculations (financial, stock market, health, unit conversions, math equations) are processed 100% locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your calculation entries, inputs, or outputs on our servers.
  • Local Storage: Calculation history, theme preferences, and favorite calculators are stored securely on your device using Hive and SharedPreferences databases.
  • Third-Party Services: We use Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics), Google Sign-In, and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to improve performance, deliver personalized or non-personalized ads, and authenticate optional user accounts.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

A. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Application, third-party service providers integrated into the Application may automatically collect certain diagnostic and usage data:

  • Device & Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, app version, screen resolution, app launch frequency, feature usage duration, and crash logs.
  • Advertising Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID) used by Google AdMob to deliver ads, prevent ad fraud, and measure ad performance.
  • IP Address & Location: Coarse location derived from IP address for analytics, ad targeting, and language localization.

B. Information You Provide Voluntarily

  • Google Account Authentication (Optional): If you choose to sign in via Google Sign-In, we collect your basic profile information (such as display name, email address, and profile photo URL) provided by Google APIs to personalize your app experience and sync subscription preferences.

3. Third-Party Services & SDK Disclosures

The Application uses third-party services that collect information according to their own privacy policies:

  1. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
  2. Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics)
  3. Google Sign-In & Firebase Authentication

4. Financial & Health Data Disclaimer

  • No Sensitive Financial / Health Storage: My Calc Rob does NOT collect, request, or transmit bank account numbers, credit card numbers, trade account credentials, social security numbers, or personal medical records.
  • Educational Calculation Purposes: Stock market, investment, tax, mortgage, and medical metrics calculated within the app are strictly for informational and estimation purposes.

5. GDPR & EU/UK User Rights

If you reside in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), or United Kingdom (UK), you hold rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to Access & Data Portability: Request copies of your personal data stored in optional account databases.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request deletion of your optional account data and associated Firebase records.
  • Right to Object & Revoke Consent: Change ad consent settings at any time within the Application settings menu (EEA/UK User Consent Modal).

6. CCPA / CPRA Notice (California & US Residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information are collected and shared.
  • Request deletion of collected personal information.
  • Opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (handled via AdMob opt-out toggles).

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

My Calc Rob is intended for general audiences aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will immediately delete it from our servers.

8. Data Retention and Account Deletion

  • Local Data: You can delete all locally saved calculation history and app settings at any time by clearing the Application data or uninstalling the app.
  • Account Deletion: If you signed in using Google Auth and wish to delete your account data, you can submit an account deletion request inside app settings or email us at support@chemmatrixinc.org.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top.
